Caring for Your Candles

To get the best possible result from your candles, please adhere to the following tips:

1. Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before each lighting.
  • You'll add five hours of life to an eight ounce candle!
  • You'll stop additional soot build-up from masking Gold Canyon's incredible fragrance.
2. Never burn your candle more than four hours at a time.
  • Because Gold Canyon candles permeate the fastest and are the strongest fragranced candle on the market, you do not need to burn for long periods of time to disperse the fragrance.
  • Prolong the life of your candles by adhering to recommended burn times.
3. Use a Wike Dipper to extinguish your candle.
  • Put out your candle without the "smoke puff".
  • Preserve your wick in wax between uses by coating it in wax.
4. Be safe by following safety instructions and know with Gold Canyon, you are getting the coolest and safest was with every candle we make.
  • Gold Canyon Candles have a lower melt temperature and are less likely to burn someone.

ECO-Note:
Reusing our beautiful glass jars is always an option for our customers.
  • Place the candle in the oven and set from 150 degrees to 200 degrees on a baking sheet. Allow wax to warm until liquefied. (Lower temperatures are recommended to avoid burns.)
  • Carefully empty the molten wax onto newspaper and transfer to the trash.
  • While the jar is still warm, thoroughly wipe out the inside with a paper towel. You can then add dishwashing soap or Gold Canyon's Wax Remover to wipe out the last wax remains with a paper towel.
  • Give a final, thorough wash and your jar is ready to reuse!
